FSU fun

Brady and I took a return trip this weekend to Tallahassee.  We went last year to watch the Tar Heels play and we witnessed a painful 43-point butt-kicking.  I figured this year, it could not be worse.

Last year on the plane:

This year on the plane:

Brady got confused when I said we were going to fly on the plane.  He takes things literally.

"Do they have a hoop on this thing?"
Let's just say it's a good thing the seatbelt sign was not illuminated for the duration of the flights.  He's no longer a docile infant, but a full-blown toddler.

Just try to pry the snack cup out of his hands...I dare you.
It was a lot of fun to take Brady on this trip, although we were both exhausted by the end.  The game was great and Brady liked being up close to watch the action.  I caught a Duncan Donuts gift card that fell from the blimp that flew around the arena, so I took that as a good sign.  I haven't checked my card balance yet, but I'm hanging on the hope that it will serve me donuts for a year.  Realistically, it's probably enough to buy a donut for me and one for my baby (the one on the inside).  Probably just as well.  Turns out the game was nothing like last year, which is to say it was exciting and fun to watch and most importantly, the good guys won.  With a minute to go in the game, the whole arena was on the edge of its seats.  And here was Brady:

He went from alert to asleep in about 30 seconds.  I don't blame him - it was 4 pm and that was by far the longest he's ever survived without a nap.  He did great the whole day though and I wouldn't have known the difference.  He slept just long enough in my arms to be wide awake and ready for the return flight home!

"Ready to play, mom??"
